Live Recording

Live-recording of your concerts as a pure stereo-recording, stereo-recording with spot microphones or as multitrack recording with a microphone splitter on stage + stereo tracks of the mixing console + ambience microphones.

Live recording

We have the possibility to split the signals directly from the multicore of the location or we use our own microphones. All tracks get separately recorded, using additional ambience microphones and also microphones for the audience. Also a surround recording of your gig is an opportunity. And to be on the safe side we also work with a backup system. Afterwards we can do the mixing and mastering for you – time and effort depending on your budget and what you desire.

In collaboration with a partner company for video we can offer you recording your gig as HD-video, but also a small version - which will be much cheaper – with a few static cameras and a few more operated by you or your friends. It‘s manageable if you obey a few simple advises. Afterwards we can do the cutting and synchronising the video to the final audio recording for you.

There are different setups for a live-recording:

Live stereo recording
for classical instruments (acoustical) individual musicians ensembles small orchestra choir
The concert is recorded by two high-quality condenser microphones in stereo, post editing afterwards is possible.

Stereo-recording with spot microphones
for classical instruments (acoustical) individual musicians ensembles orchestra choir
The concert is recorded by two high-quality condenser microphones in stereo, also each group of instruments is recorded by spot microphones. Post production will be according to the customer‘s wishes.

Live multitrack recording with a microphone splitter on stage + stereo tracks of the mixing console + ambience microphones
for Band gigs all gigs with amplified instruments
The concert is recorded in single tracks. The signals of the microphones and the other inputs get splitted by a microphone splitter, so the sound system of the venue and the recording are electrically isolated from each other. We can build up our control room backstage but it is also an opportunity to do it outside for example in a van.
Additional to the microphones used on stage we also record the stereo output from the sound system and ambience microphones. The further treatment can be done during the post production like mixing, mastering and the synchronisation to a video.
